Join Wandoo Finance as an Application Support Analyst

We're a small but fast-moving support development team sitting at the intersection of technology and business. You'll be the third person on the team, working closely with the team lead on a wide range of support tasks — from investigating and fixing data issues to coordinating with internal stakeholders to get things resolved quickly and correctly.
This isn't a pure tech role and it isn't a pure ops role — it's both. If you're someone who can query a database, make sense of what you find, and then clearly explain the situation to a risk manager or sales rep, you'll thrive here.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Investigating and resolving complex support tickets (2nd/3rd level) across the full stack
- Analyzing data and fixing issues using SQL, internal tools and scripts
- Communicating with business teams — sales, risk, operations — to clarify requirements and coordinate fixes
- Documenting solutions and contributing to team knowledge
- Gradually taking on more ownership as you grow into the role
What You Bring to the Table
- Data work here is unforgiving — a wrong value in the wrong field can cause a real business problem. You're the kind of person who double-checks before hitting confirm, not after.
- Solid SQL skills — you're comfortable writing queries, spotting anomalies, and making data corrections
- Some coding experience — enough to read code, understand what's happening, write scripts / make small fixes
- Clear, confident communication — you can talk to both technical and non-technical people without losing either of them
- A methodical, ownership-driven mindset — you follow issues through to resolution rather than passing them along
Nice to have
- Experience working in a support or operations role
- Experience with Java or Groovy
- Experience with observability tools (DataDog, Elastic, Graylog or similar)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira or similar) and understanding basic ITIL concepts
- Fintech or financial services background
